Admission to the Program is made through public selection and is published annually on the UFRPE website (selection for graduate programs). PPGIA has only one entry per year. The selection process usually takes place from October onwards, with enrollment in March of the following year.
In the last selections, the candidate needed to choose the one that comes closest to their desire to act among the various research projects carried out by PPGIA professors. In other words, each student already enters PPGIA knowing who the supervising professor will be and what their goal of study will be.
